Tailored quote
You won’t be surprised that mediation isn’t free but it is, however, a much more cost effective solution for resolving your dispute.
As with mediators, all disputes are different and so quoting a ‘one size fits all’ fees structure is unlikely to work for you or us! Please give us a call to discuss your dispute and we can then provide a tailored fee quote.

Payment
Fees are payable in full before we get cracking on the day but there is no charge for any preparation work.
40% of the fee payable is refundable if a mediation is cancelled more than 48 hours before it is scheduled. We hope you think that is fair.
We carry Professional Indemnity cover and are very happy to let you have a copy.

Extras
The only costs that we charge in addition our mediation fees are:

A venue for 'face to face' mediations that both parties are happy with.

Travel costs, but only where planes, passports and hotels are involved.
We won’t charge for other out of pocket expenses.

Final details
We prefer in person meditations but understand that sometimes disputing parties would rather use an online solution. That’s also fine, we can provide an online Zoom solution to remove scheduling and geographical barriers.
We will ask both parties to sign a Mediation Agreement. This formalises the basis on which Wilson Mediation acts and sets out the various parties' responsibilities to each other.
