My story​

I am a seasoned chartered accountant and have spent my career working in and with small and medium sized businesses in MD, CFO or COO roles. I also act as a Non-Executive Director..

 

My personal values and beliefs align with the fundamental principles of mediation - fairness, integrity and optimism. As with almost everybody else, life has also provided one or two experiences along the way!

So how does this experience make me the right mediator for you? The answer is balance. Accountancy training and board level experience mean I understand the balance between the big picture and the important details.

​

Effective mediation depends on finding balance and results in better outcomes for all parties.

Experience is the difference​

I have first hand experience of commercial disputes and understand the value of the mediation process and the value of the positive resolutions mediation produces for businesses and individuals.

 

I assimilate and understand issues and data quickly. Whether the numbers relate to money, ownership, square footage, time or any other variable I know what they mean and how to interpret them.Vital components in resolving most disputes.
 

I have operational and board experience and have been responsible for most business functions including:

I asked Nigel to help find a solution that allowed investors to exit and the management team to focus on the direction they wanted to follow. It was also important to ensure relationships were preserved across all parties.
 
All of these objectives were achieved, with Nigel playing a vital part
in facilitating the solution.
